The day staff consisted of Elmer Hooey, Manager/Teleprinter Operator; a female telephone/counter clerk; and a Clerk- Gordon Smithson (typing up duebills, etc).

During the evening hours, the office was run alone by Verne King.

Nearly fifty years later, I can still recall those times on the odd evening I would drop in, and Verne was playing his harmonica during an idle moment in work.

Routine maintenance on the Plant facilities was handled by Ben Gellert , District Repeater Attendant, who travelled to the Soo from Sudbury.

The Adanac Restaurant was next door to the CNT office.
