Tribute to Sandy Purdie

This page is a tribute to Sandy Purdie of Elgin Ontario, who made these pages available to the Pensioners of the Allstream Retirement Association. These pages were set up by Sandy and he kept close guard on them making information easy to get for those of us who needed assistance.

Sandy had spent hours getting information and putting it up for us to use, in his last days he passed this information over to the present webmaster. It was a difficult task in his time of suffering, but he managed to put this important information out. Sandy went to the Grand Creators Garden on April 20th

I met Sandy one morning in  Downtown Toronto a fine day in June, 2003, I was a green horn from the Maritimes, and the Allstream Pensioners were having their directors meeting in the Allstream building that Morning.  Sandy had many ideas and was working with an old system, he made a pitch to the directors, here we are today.

Well Done Sandy Purdie, we miss you.
